Dr S Gouthaman is a Senior Consultant, Surgical Oncology at Apollo Cancer Centre, Vanagaram. He has a rich experience of 16 years in the field of Surgical Oncology and has performed more than 2000 major Surgical Oncology procedures. As a specialist, his special interest lies in Minimally Invasive Surgical Oncology- Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery with due benefits to the oncological outcome of the patients. He is interested in Oncological Genetic Research and works on genetic research projects. He has numerous publications- both national and international to his credit and has penned a book chapter on- ‘Prehabilitation in Head and Neck Cancer’ (international). He is an avid learner of newer surgical technologies and keeps abet with the latest knowledge in Oncology.
